good grief.

who, i ask you, has time for blogging??

 

i agree, its nice to see updates a lot more frequently than i do them. in fact, i get annoyed by people who don't update their blogs. he he. i just never seem to find the time. and really, by the time i'm done looking at other people blogs, i'm exhausted and well, have work to do!

 

 

i mentioned my client in my last post that we were finding pillows for.

well, the fabric was back-ordered and took forever to arrive. the pillows, however, didn't take so long at all so that was fabulous.

they look far better in real life of course, but we are both quite pleased with them.

 

next on the list is to find accessories for her living room shelves. new side tables, lighting, etc.

SO MUCH FUN! i feel pretty blessed to have this job.

when i met one of my clients, she said to me "we'll be working together for a very long time." What designer doesn't like to hear that!? what she meant was, we'd be going through her house room by room adding bits here and there, slowly. She had a huge list of things on her "wants" list and on her "needs" list. Sign me up! We started with window coverings and an area rug in her den. It was set up as a dining room but they only used it to put all their stuff as they walked in the door. So, out went the dining room table and in went a new sofa, rug and draperies.

Here are some of the fabrics going in the room...LOVE THEM! We started with a yellow and grey scheme but moved into a citrus green and grey after falling in love with the stripe on the curtain and scoring a great area rug at Home Sense for only $400!!!

I can't wait to see it all together and I hope she'll be thrilled when it's finally complete!
